These writing help mats have been made for Year 6 in mind but can easily be used with other children.
Simply print out the two pages and laminate them back to back to give children a work mat to help their writing and ensure they are addressing a number of the statements required for end of Key Stage writing assessments.

A Powerpoint that looks at the relationship between addition and subtraction and between multiplication and division.
Useful as an introduction or a recap for children, exploring the links between operations as well as introducing algebraic links for children and the way in which the equals sign can move about fluidly. Includes questions for children to try and solve, with some being more complex than others.
A British History quiz that includes 20 questions about British history, including a range of topics and spanning over 1000 years. Also included is a bonus round worth up to an extra 23 points.
This is useful for some end of term fun or as a general quiz to check children's general knowledge of British history and can be done individually or in teams.
10 practise Arithmetic papers with 20 questions in each to use for practise in Year 6 ahead of the new Key Stage 2 Arithmetic assessment. These questions have been formed by using the exemplar material and other practise papers released. These have then been used to look at the type of questions that appear regularly, with these then being tested regularly throughout the various tests.
It will provide children with test practise as well as regularly being able to review what children understand and what they still need to work on.
